What usually goes wrong
Leaves get the blame far more often than they deserve. Far more common: a run whose fall has flattened, brackets that have torn free of soft timber, outlets emptying straight down a wall, and troughs never sized for the area of covering draining into them. Every one of those is plain from a ladder, and not one improves on its own.
What we fit
Seamless lengths
Formed on the drive to the exact run of each elevation, which leaves joints only where it turns or drops.
Capacity and fall
Matched to the area of covering feeding it and set so nothing stands in the trough after a dry week.
Guards that earn a place
Specified where overhanging trees make the case for them and left out where they would be cost without benefit.
Outlets and extensions
Positioned and run on so discharge clears the wall rather than soaking back towards the footings.
Timber first
Soft fascia renewed before a single bracket goes into it, since a bracket is only as sound as what holds it.
Doing it alongside a roof
With a covering coming off anyway, this is the cheapest hour of the year to deal with the trough, the edge metal and the fascia at once: the scaffolding and access are already on the bill and the edge metal has to come up regardless.
