The record comes before the repair
Nothing gets mended on the first visit. The job is to establish what the weather actually did, photographed and dated, before the next front or a hurried patch rubs out the proof. Insurers ask for that file, and having it is what keeps you from paying twice for damage that was never yours to carry.
What gets looked for
Hail bruising
Soft dark strikes where granules have gone and the mat beneath is showing, counted slope by slope.
Wind creasing
Courses lifted and dropped back down: intact from the ground, no longer sealed, and the next gale takes them.
Corroborating damage
Bruising to troughs, pipes, vent caps and any other thin metal on the house, which fixes the date and backs up whatever the slopes show.
Interior signs
Fresh marks and damp sheathing in the loft, separated carefully from older staining.
Where we stop, and why it matters
What we produce is a photographed, measured, written account of the damage, handed to whoever you name. Claims are not ours to settle, your policy is not ours to interpret, and no deductible will ever be quietly absorbed on your behalf. The BBB record behind this business exists because those are exactly the lines storm work gets lost on.
